Molokai Pictures
Hawaii's past becomes present on Molokai, where it's people work to preserve their culture through the love of their land. 40 percent of the nearly 8,000 residents that call Molokai their home are of Hawaiian decent. It is said that Hula was born here, brought and taught by Laka, The Goddess of Hula. Molokai is rich in culture as it is in beauty. The worlds tallest sea cliffs were formed here 1.5 million years ago when part of the island separated and scattered north across the sea floor. You can view these cliffs by air or sea only, but it is certainly worth the trip.
